ELIGIBILITY: 10^th/12^th/Degree (Any Specialization)

CMLT stands for “Certificate course in medical lab technology”.  It helps in early start of medical laboratory technician career for those who want to pursue higher studies being in health care field.  Medical lab technicians are in great demand with the number of roles available expected to rise by 22% over the next ten years.

Their tasks include taking care of instruments, gathering data, maintaining records, preparing and conducting chemical and biological analyses as directed by a supervisor, and assisting in all lab procedures (e.g., sample-taking, analyzing the outcomes of experiments).

They  may choose to specialize in an area of expertise such as chemistry, cytotechnology, immunology, microbiology, molecular biology, or immunohematology, clinical research.

Post CMLT one can pursue their career into DMLT, Advance Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (ADMLT),  BSC in MLT, Post graduation and Phd.
